Last night, we had an amazing evening with our Emerging Leaders at our "Stand Up for Our Future" event, where Dallas's young professionals and aspiring community leaders came together to support Jewish Dallas and enjoy a laughter-filled evening, featuring comedian Michael Rapaport. As Michael mentioned on the stage, "The light of the Jewish people is undimmable. It cannot go out. It will not go out!" It is thanks to you, Emerging Leaders, that Jewish Dallas's light continues to shine bright. Thank you for an unforgettable evening and for all that you do!

Along with many lay leaders and community members, our President and CEO, Igor Alterman, Director of Community Relations and Public Affairs, Michelle G., and Chief Impact Officer and Rabbi in Residence, Rabbi Mordechai Harris, are currently in Washington, D.C., attending Jewish Federations of North America's General Assembly to represent you, Jewish Dallas, and have our voices heard! And we are thrilled that our very own Board Member and National Young Leadership Cabinet Co-Chair, Bobby Gibbs, delivered the assembly's opening remarks! With the drastic rise in antisemitism in the past year, the 2024 General Assembly is a powerful opportunity to bring together Jewish communities throughout the nation and demand action, share our perspectives, and strategize for a brighter tomorrow.

Even more alarming? The sharpest rise in support came from younger Americans—a huge reversal from past trends. Together, we must stand up to antisemitism in all forms and in all generations. #JewishDallas #Antisemitism

We are very proud of our COO, Lance Yeaman, who was chosen to join the second cohort of Jewish Federations of North America's Executive Accelerator program! Lance has been a leader on our team for the past 7 years, and we are thankful for his vision, dedication, and collaboration every day. Congratulations, Lance!

In our 2024 Impact Report, you can read about how we supported our community this past year. Raising nearly $18 million through our Annual Community and Israel Emergency Campaigns, securing $1.5 million in FEMA grants for 12 community agencies, and collaborating with elected officials to ensure steadfast support for the Jewish community, we are nourishing Jewish life in Dallas and beyond!
