Thank you to Partnership for Growth LA, and happy Jewish American Heritage Month.
During Jewish American Heritage Month, which begins today, we’d like to pay homage to one of our founding organizations, the Jewish Center for Justice (JCJ). Rabbi Joel Simonds, JCJ’s Executive Director, serves also as PFGLA’s President. Founded in 2017, JCJ is a distinguished social justice, education, and leadership development platform that meets each individual where they are in their journey to inspire change. Since its founding, JCJ has played an integral role in local, state and national advocacy for critical legislation on issues from economic justice to criminal justice reform to climate change. One of JCJ’s flagship programs brings LA-based youth leaders to Sacramento to meet with their elected officials and learn about the legislative process firsthand. Follow the Jewish Center for Justice to learn more about its advocacy and legislative work. #partnership #jewishheritagemonth
