Just had the incredible honor of speaking at the Eller College of Management at my alma mater, the University of Arizona! ???? Standing on that stage, sharing my journey of grit, happiness, and possibility, I was reminded of something powerful: Our greatest challenges can become our greatest strengths—if we let them. I spoke to students and staff about eliminating “I can’t” from their vocabulary, reframing FEAR as Face Everything And Rise, and embracing an adaptability mindset in a world that’s constantly changing. I even demonstrated how I tie my shoes using only my feet—a skill I mastered at six years old that has come to symbolize the power of persistence. Thank you, Eller College, for welcoming me back with open arms. And to the students, I hope you left that room knowing that you are capable of so much more than you think. Keep believing. Keep pushing forward. Nothing is impossible. ????? Read more about the experience here: https://zurl.co/PpX75 #Grit #Happiness #NoLimits #EllerCollege #BearDown #Motivation #purposefulperseverance

??? “Resilience is truly a muscle.” This was one of my key takeaways during my interview on the November episode of It Happens at STN. From earning my pilot’s license as the first armless pilot to advocating for inclusion and empowerment for people with disabilities, I’ve seen firsthand how challenges can shape us into stronger, more adaptable leaders. ???? In the interview, I discussed why it’s so important to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities and how our words, like “I can’t,” can limit us more than any physical barrier. Instead, let’s shift our mindset to ask, “How can I?” This shift has helped me achieve feats that were once deemed impossible. Whether it’s in the cockpit of a plane or the boardroom, resilience and persistence are tools we can all cultivate. Let’s lead with curiosity, courage, and a determination to think outside the shoe. ?? What’s one way you’ve stretched your resilience muscle recently? Share below—I’d love to hear your story! ?? https://zurl.co/bZPsj
