The Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring public policy leaders to gain practical experience in the legislative process. This 11-month fellowship provides participants with a chance to work full-time in the California State Assembly. Named in honor of the late Jesse M. Unruh, former Speaker of the California State Assembly, the program has been shaping public policy leaders for over 60 years.
