Jeremiah’s Inn uses a social model to provide residents with a safe environment in which to begin recovery.

关于我们

Jeremiah’s Inn operates a residential Social Model Recovery Program and a Nutrition Center. Our residential program provides adult men with a safe place in which to begin recovery from addiction. Our Nutrition Center features a food pantry, provides grocery store tours and cooking demonstrations, and runs a community gardening program. We believe that “you are what you eat” and that what you fuel your body with is important. For this reason, we focus on nutrition not only for our food pantry clients but also in our residential program.

?? Helping Clinicians & Treatment Centers Empower Families | Founder, Family WellthCare? | A Non-Clinical Alternative for Family Well-Being

The Business of Suffering: Who Profits from Addiction? Matthew Perry’s $9M bill for treatment over 40 years isn’t an anomaly—it’s a feature of a system designed to monetize struggle, not heal it. Look at the numbers: ?? In Northern Ireland, addiction deaths have nearly doubled since 2012. ?? Death rates in the most deprived areas are 3x higher than in wealthier ones. ?? Public health, venture capital, and treatment industries optimize profit, not outcomes. The addiction industry isn’t failing—it’s succeeding at what it was built to do: sustain cash flow, not healing. Evidence-based interventions are often written in a language the public can’t even access. Meanwhile, state programs funnel resources into bureaucracies while informal economies (like county lines) fill the gaps. This is a legacy issue—but it doesn’t have to be our future. Family WELLthcare means investing in relational health, breaking cycles of trauma, and building a system that prioritizes people over profit. We can either optimize human misery—or finally build a framework for true healing. Which future are we funding? #AddictionRecovery #FamilyWELLth #TraumaInformed #SystemicChange #PublicHealth #MentalHealth

If your best employees are leaving... It’s not the workload. It’s the leadership. Leadership isn’t just about making targets. It’s about the people who help you hit them. Without empathy, leadership is just management. And no one is inspired by a manager. Here’s why every great leader needs empathy (and how to practice it daily): 1?? ?????????? ??People don’t trust titles. ??They trust those who understand them. ? Repeat back what you heard before responding. 2?? ?????????????????? ??When people feel seen, they give their best. ? Ask about life outside of work; then really listen. 3?? ?????????????????? ??The loudest voice in the room isn’t always the wisest. ? Pause two seconds before responding with intent. 4?? ?????????????????????????? ??People don’t collaborate with dismiss leaders. ??They collaborate with those who value them. ? Build on another's idea before sharing your own. 5?? ???????????????? ??The best leaders aren’t the ones with all the answers. ??They’re the ones with the right questions. ? Ask, “What’s one thing I haven’t considered here?” 6?? ???????????????????? ??People take risks when they won’t be shut down. ? Celebrate “almost there” ideas, not just perfect ones. 7?? ?????????????? ??Retention isn’t just about paychecks. ??It’s about feeling valued. ? Give specific praise about how they made an impact. 8?? ???????????????????? ??No one goes above and beyond for someone who doesn’t see them as human. ? Replace “Good job” with why it was a good job.? 9?? ???????????????????????????? ??When leaders genuinely care, teams own their work. ? Ask, “How can I support you?” ?? ?????????????? ???????????? ?????????????? ??When leaders lead with empathy, others follow suit. ? Pick one daily action here. Watch what happens. Empathy isn’t a leadership tactic. It’s the foundation of trust, loyalty, and impact. Lead with it, and everything else follows. ?? Repost to help others practice empathy. ?? Your Best employees are secretly planning their exit. Here's what they're not telling you... The truth about employee loyalty isn't what most leaders think. Here's what actually keeps employees committed to their companies: 1. Trust & Recognition ? Employees who feel recognized are 45% less likely to leave within 2 years ? Simple gestures like public praise and personalized thank-yous make a massive difference 2. Work-Life Balance ? Flexible schedules decrease job stress by 20% ? 80% of workers would stay loyal if given flexible work options 3. Growth & Development ? Clear career progression paths ? Investment in skill development ? Opportunities for advancement 4. Fair Compensation ? Competitive salaries matter more than ever ? A mere $1/hour decrease in pay can spike turnover by 28% ? Comprehensive benefits including health insurance and retirement plans 5. Workplace Culture ? Supportive environment ? Mental health support ? Focus on employee wellbeing The Hard Truth: Money alone won't keep your best people. Companies winning the loyalty game are the ones creating environments where employees: - Feel valued - Have control over their time - See clear growth opportunities - Receive fair compensation - Experience genuine recognition Want to boost loyalty?
