But it only works if you don't look at your phone. And did you know that practicing mindfulness can also reduce the anxiety in your pet? Our pets are emotional sponges, and if they sense anxiety in you, they too will start to feel more anxious. This is especially true for horses. Whenever my mind wanders or I'm feeling anxious, Harley either doesn't listen to me or he feeds off of my anxiety, which can be dangerous.
