?? Welcome to our new provider! Dr. Alan Kowitz, an experienced, board-certified urologist, has joined Jefferson Healthcare to provide high quality vasectomy care. Dr. Kowitz uses the No-Needle, No-Scalpel Vasectomy procedure. Sometimes referred to as “The Gentle Vasectomy,” this procedure is a quick, effective, and comfortable method performed in the clinic. Studies show that no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomies have a complication rate eight times lower than conventional approaches using a scalpel and involve less discomfort. Dr. Ramirez shared a story about why she decided to pursue Neurology (and we're so glad she did!). "Growing up in the Pacific Northwest," she says, "I naturally gravitated towards caring for my parents, peer group and animals. I originally attended WSU to become a veterinarian. ?? Progress Update: Jefferson Healthcare Expansion Today, we reached a significant milestone in our Campus Modernization and Expansion Project with the topping out ceremony. The final steel beams for the structure’s roof, signed by patients and staff, were placed at the highest point of our new building. This tradition marks a key moment in the project, and we’re excited to be one step closer to providing new and expanded services to the people in the communities we serve. We recently reached a big milestone in our construction project as wall panels were installed. Check out this time-lapse video of our latest progress! When the project is complete, we'll have additional space for existing services. We'll use the additional space to offer a host of new services as well.
