Thank you Jeffco residents for saying Yes On 1A. Debate aside on the topic of TABOR, we all agree that it gives a voice through vote to our residents. Last night, that voice was clear that we, as a community, value our public safety and infrastructure and are willing to invest in it. Our ability to implement that investment without raising taxes is a testament to our County’s approach and diligence in the budget process. Thank you to the voters for your willingness to shore up these essential services.

Colorado is at the forefront of this innovation. Thanks to our leading academic institutions and the multi-million-dollar investments made by state leaders like Gov. Jared Polis, Colorado has positioned itself as the clear leader in quantum computing. Recognizing and rewarding these efforts, the Biden administration recognized Colorado as one of the few Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs (tech hubs), bringing in millions more in investment.
