On August 27th, we had the privilege of bringing together 25 industry professionals and municipal leaders for a panel discussion facilitated by Jansen Tidmore, President & CEO of JeffCo EDC. The event, co-convened by Breanna G. with Jeffco Business & Workforce Center and Kylie Parks with the Arvada Chamber Of Commerce, provided an opportunity to hear from leaders in municipal planning and development, shedding light on the behind-the-scenes processes and why they differ from city to city. A huge thank you to our panelists: Keith Hensel and Mike Jones with the City of Lakewood; Jessica Garner, AICP and Justin Clark with the City of Arvada, and Steve Art with the City of Wheat Ridge. Chaired by CommonSpirit Health & Alis Behavioral Health, this event brought together 70 dedicated participants, including 29 employers and 41 partners. We identified key challenges in behavioral health: reimbursement, workforce development, compassion fatigue, & ecosystem development. Looking ahead, action groups will tackle these challenges head-on to devise practical solutions. The Alliance exists to bring people together to develop and advance solutions for a thriving planet. ???? This month, we did this by launching Colorado's Cleantech Sector Partnership alongside Jefferson County Business & Workforce Center. This partnership brings together #cleantech industry partners and #community education, workforce and supportive services partners to listen to industry pain points and begin coordinating solutions.
