On September 26th, employees across our Corporate Division in London volunteered in Idia’s Community Kitchen organized by Matchable, an organization that provides volunteering opportunities to Corporate employees. Idia’s Community Kitchen fights poverty, isolation and food waste. They transform surplus food into hot meals, provide essential groceries, and offer support to the community. Twenty-five Jefferies employees helped with a range of activities including sorting and unpacking donations for the day, preparing meals and serving these meals to the local community. Thank you to all those who took the time to show their commitment to societal well-being and fostering community spirit.

We are pleased to welcome Cui Cui, who joins Jefferies as Head of Healthcare Research, Asia with a focus on the China and Hong Kong markets, based in Hong Kong. Cui Cui will enhance our coverage of the Healthcare sector in the region, bringing her extensive experience; she has consistently been ranked number 1 in the Institutional Investor Asia Survey. Cui Cui will be joined by Chu Wang (Senior Associate) and David Shang (VP) to round out the Healthcare Research team.

We are excited to welcome Jonathan Pierce, who joins Jefferies as Co-Head of European Banks Equity Research. He will expand and enhance our research coverage of European banks. Jonathan brings over 25 years of experience as a UK Banks analyst and previously headed a #1-ranked European Banks research team.

Jefferies has opened applications for our fourth annual Equity Research Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Career Switch Program, sponsored by Jefferies’ Network of Employee Resource Groups. The program is designed to offer qualified candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences the opportunity to launch into a new career.
