?????????????? ???????????? ???????? ?????? ?? ?????????? & ???????????? ???????????? The holidays are here, bringing excitement, family gatherings, festive celebrations, and plenty of visitors—many of them young ones exploring every nook and cranny of your home! While the season brings joy and togetherness, it also requires extra attention to safety. Whether you're hosting a Christmas Eve dinner, ringing in the New Year, or simply enjoying the festive spirit with loved ones, being prepared for any situation ensures that the holiday cheer continues without a hitch. 1. Lock Pool Gates & Fences If you have a pool area, ensure it is fully secured with a self-closing, self-latching gate. Lock any doors or gates leading to the pool to prevent unsupervised access. Additionally, drain inflatable pools, water toys, large buckets, or any items that could collect water—small amounts can pose a serious hazard, especially to toddlers. 2. Brush Up on Life-Saving Skills Take a moment to refresh your knowledge of CPR, the Heimlich maneuver (for choking), and Basic Life Support. These simple skills could save a life in an emergency. 3. Have Emergency Contacts Ready Write down the contact information for your nearest hospital, urgent care, and poison control center. Keep these numbers visible near the phone for quick access. 4. Childproof Your Home Ensure doors to unused rooms are closed or locked, and keep cabinets with sharp objects, toxic items, and other dangers secured. Wishing you a Merry (and SAFE) holiday season! Please share!
