Fun new role for the local non-profit Cancer Can’t
Kylie York is #hiring. Know anyone who might be interested? This is a super fun one. We are helping out the wonderful and amazing people at Spokane Washington’s Cancer Can't find their next Marketing & Events coordinator. This role is absolutely a unique one. It has to be perfect for someone with season obligations elsewhere. The role is full time (~40 hours)in the summer months prepping for their large event in September, and part time (~20 hours) over the winter time. Snow ski instructor? Winter sports enthusiast? Someone that can balance a schedule working from home leveraging their marketing and events skills for a growing non-profit. We estimate that the annnual take home is roughly $32,000 per year working part time 8 months of 12. **Spokane area based** - If you don’t live here move here! I moved my family to Liberty Lake, WA 20 years ago and absolutely love it! Mountains, lakes, skiing, fishing, camping, hiking, boating, etc! Take a look! Super cool program!
Every year JDR participates in a local program called CANCER CAN'T Their mission is ”Empowering adult cancer patients and families in the Inland Northwest with resources and supportive community so they can focus on healing, not the burden of cancer” JDR is a small sponsor, however, the immediate group we are lucky enough to be affiliated with raised over $54,000 and the entire program on 9/21/24 raised nearly $900,000! I was not able to attend personally this year based on an unavoidable family obligation in Seattle, however, Kylie York and her husband was able to attend and have a great time!
