From a chilling and life-saving moment to a memorable photo and now a new street name. The image known as the “Kiss of Life” reflects the moment J.D. Thompson saved a friend and fellow lineworker. On November 12, J.D. Thompson was presented with a resolution from the Jacksonville City Council with the renaming of "Electric Avenue" at JEA’s Northside Generating Station to "J.D. Thompson Street."

Ernie Bernich is JEA’s November Ambassador of the Month. Ernie is a dedicated team member who strives to make a difference in our community.
