We were proud to have recognized them at Thursday's Ambassador & Volunteer of the Year Luncheon. Congratulations to all, especially our Ambassador of the Year, Marcel Williams, and our Volunteer of the Year, Mitch Shepard.

JEA leaders were proud to participate in this week's Jacksonville Transportation Authority Regional Capital Infrastructure Summit along with leaders from the City of Jacksonville and other independent authorities. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with our city partners to help shape Jacksonville's future!

From a chilling and life-saving moment to a memorable photo and now a new street name. The image known as the “Kiss of Life” reflects the moment J.D. Thompson saved a friend and fellow lineworker. On November 12, J.D. Thompson was presented with a resolution from the Jacksonville City Council with the renaming of "Electric Avenue" at JEA’s Northside Generating Station to "J.D. Thompson Street."
