It’s always about the customer. ?? To raise support for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and to ensure health and safety in American homes, JEA leaders Renee Goode and Elizabeth Paulson met with our representatives at Capitol Hill. They spoke with Representative John Rutherford, as well as the offices of Senator Rick Scott and Senator Aaron Bean. LIHEAP provides heating and cooling assistance to households experiencing economic or medical crises.

We’re proud to share that we’re making continued progress with the Septic Tank Phaseout Program. In partnership with the City of Jacksonville, we are now targeting the Christobel and Riverview neighborhoods, two areas prone to flooding. When completed, the homes in these neighborhoods will be connected to the city sewer system, abandoning their existing septic tanks.
