After an amazing year working at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. in the Legal Department, I learned much about the backend of non-profit management, as well as the contract review system and process. I am grateful to my many mentors at ABCD, especially @Jennifer Williams who guided my transition so seamlessly and made me feel instantly at ease in the essential work ABCD provides. I gained an understanding of how non profits partner with the government to provide social services and support within Boston and across the country. While I was sad to leave ABCD, I am excited to share that a month ago I moved to Israel through the Aliyah process! I am also thrilled to share that I was accepted to the Jewish Service Corps Fellowship with JDC Entwine working in their Jerusalem offices. I am currently working under two departments providing relief services for those effected by the war and other peripheral parts of Israeli society. I can’t wait to continue my work in welfare services and see what this year holds in store!??????#aliyah #newjob #JDCEntwine

?? Impact Incoming. Last month, 15 Entwine leaders journeyed to Lviv, Ukraine, where they connected with JDC’s vital work. While there, they met with JDC staff and volunteers, celebrated Shabbat with elderly community members, packed supplies for internally displaced persons, and helped rebuild a local synagogue. Though their trip is over, the impact of this visit will be felt for years to come. These participants are now ambassadors of the stories they heard in Ukraine — those of heartbreak and of hope — and they will tell the Jewish world about the impact of the crisis as well as JDC's unwavering commitment to Ukraine's Jews.
