Native American Heritage Month, celebrated every November, honors the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Native American peoples. It recognizes their enduring legacy and highlights the diverse histories and achievements of Indigenous communities across the United States. We are honored to have our JD brand be named "2024 Retailer of the Year" by Footwear News!
“Bigger is better” seems to be the approach for U.K.-based retail company JD Sports Fashion. In addition to opening 85 new stores in the first half of this year, it completed its acquisition of American chain Hibbett in July, which added 1,179 stores to the total portfolio and made North America its largest geographic market. As it works to transition Finish Line stores to JD Sports locations, the company is poised to grow its U.S. mindshare even further, which is why?JD Sports?will receive Retailer of the Year at the 2024 FNAAs. As part of JD Finish Line’s continued commitment to supporting its employees and communities, the organization partnered with the Indiana Black Expo, Inc. (IBE) in September for its 2024 Circle City Classic event. As a Co-Sponsor of the Circle City Classic Parade, JD Finish Line was involved in a host of activities supporting the IBE, the community and Marion County all weekend. Over the weekend, employees from surrounding Indianapolis-area stores and the corporate office marched in the Circle City Classic Parade to represent the organization and support the attendees of the community who came out to enjoy the 40th running of the event.
