Tomorrow, February 26, 2025, a hearing for HB 937 will take place at 4:30 pm at the Missouri State Capitol. Please join us in Jefferson City, MO to testify in favor of this important legislation. HB 937, sponsored by George Hruza, aims to combat discrimination and antisemitism within public educational institutions. The bill mandates that public schools and public postsecondary institutions treat harassment or discrimination motivated by antisemitic intent in the same manner as discrimination based on race. It requires these institutions to incorporate the definition of antisemitism into their codes of conduct for students, faculty, and employees, and to enforce penalties for violations accordingly.
