Things I've learnt after 8 years recruiting to help jobseekers in a quiet market ?? ? The 'open to work' banner ???? a useful tool ? Don't be put off applying to a role if you don't tick all of the boxes listed on the advert - they often include generic experience/qualifications that aren't essential ?? Don't apply to multiple roles at the same company - this might give the impression you don't know what you want ?? ???????????? ask for feedback ? Only include relevant info on your CV - pictures, hobbies & marital status distract from your experience ?? Research the company, the time spent ???????? pay dividends in an interview ? Think of at least 2 good questions to ask that show curiosity in the role & company - this will help things end on a positive note ?? Limit distractions on a video interview ?? Try and focus on things ?????? did rather than ???? when discussing your experience ? Setup job alerts on LinkedIn & other job boards to get a daily overview ?? Stay ???????????????? ?? Keep in regular contact with a couple of recruiters who specialise in your market - they often work on roles that aren't advertised ?? Don't list 'attention to detail' as a key skill on a CV full of grammar errors ?? Try and get your personality across in an interview - get the hiring manager to buy into ?????? not just your expertise
