Last week, JCPenney’s Chief Merchandising and Supply Chain Officer Michelle DeMartini Wlazlo attended the Look Good Feel Better BeautyCares DreamBall where she was honored with the 2024 Retail Champion Award. ? Over its 35 year history, Look Good Feel Better has served over 2.4 million cancer patients, providing programming designed to help those dealing with the physical side effects of cancer treatment feel more like themselves. A key part of this programming is hands-on workshops, where patients learn techniques from scalp and hair maintenance to makeup application to skincare to help them look and feel their best. Now, JCPenney is thrilled to introduce a new initiative to engage and train #JCPenneySalon Professionals as certified Look Good Feel Better workshop facilitators, and to launch a phased rollout in JCPenney Salons to host Look Good Feel Better workshops in communities around the country. We will also educate beauty consultants in our beauty departments to share information about Look Good Feel Better with our customers, ensuring these programs can reach as many people as possible. ? JCPenney is excited to do our part to make Look Good Feel Better workshops more accessible to more people, and proud to contribute to the health, happiness, and well-being of the communities we serve. ?
