关于我们
Since 1936, JCJ Architecture has built a practice on the union of business and art; an integration that combines our rigorous methods of management, the high standards of design and execution our projects achieve, and the kind of service our clients require and deserve. To be of service and value to our clients, we have developed a keen understanding of their respective businesses, of the challenges they face, and of their aspirations. We approach each project with extensive knowledge of its context and purpose, and with open and inquiring minds. Our experience does not give us predetermined answers—it enables us to ask the right questions. JCJ Architecture's teams of specialists focus on certain project types and execute them exceptionally well. Each of our core markets – education, hospitality, mixed-use, public safety, corporate, performing arts, -- is led by a nationally-renowned director supported by a depth of knowledge within our studios that allows us to provide focused expertise across the country. JCJ has launched a WELL-Environment Strategies Team, which will focus on implementing the WELL Building Standard?, the first protocol of its kind to focus on the health and wellness of occupants within the built environment. This standard identifies specific design strategies, performance targets, and operational policies that can enhance health and well-being when holistically integrated into building architecture and design. This team is led by three of the world's first Provisional WELL APs, professionally trained at the Cleveland Clinic. With offices in Hartford, New York, Boston, Phoenix, San Diego, Tulsa and Las Vegas, JCJ’s talented designers are supported by a business framework that gives structured freedom to their creativity and focus to their purpose: exceeding the objectives of our clients.

A big thank you to JCJ’s Jeffrey Elliott, Brian Stone, and Fawn Walton Pellegrini, RA, LEED AP for leading our JCJ team on a field trip yesterday to see the progress of the JCJ-designed Bullard Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, CT. ? Despite the rainy weather, our group had an engaging experience touring the site - Brian and Jeff provided valuable insight into both the technical and design aspects of the project, sharing key successes as well as lessons learned throughout the process. Seeing the design take shape firsthand was an exciting opportunity to deepen our understanding of the project’s impact and the collaborative effort that has brought it to life.

Inclusive design is about understanding how people experience the world—recognizing that stimuli impact individuals differently and striving to create spaces that accommodate diverse needs. At JCJ, our guiding philosophy is ‘Design that Builds Community,’ and that principle extends to every aspect of our work. In this Hospitality Interiors Magazine feature, JCJ's Principal and Hospitality Sector Leader Jeanne M. Muscolino, NCIDQ, LEED AP speaks with Vicky Lewis about the importance of designing for the neurodiverse community. As both a personal and professional advocate, Jeanne is passionate about ensuring that hospitality spaces are welcoming and accessible to all. Read more about how JCJ is incorporating thoughtful design strategies and collaborating with industry experts to create environments that support neurodiverse individuals. https://lnkd.in/d_atrs8a #InclusiveDesign #Neurodiversity #HospitalityDesign

Inside Supper 41: Trends come and go, but the rise of the no- and low-alcohol movement shows no signs of slowing down. From Soho House & Co, where Cyril Francoise ensures non-drinkers feel as included as cocktail lovers, to Beno?t d'Onofrio at Le Meurice Paris, who champions the concept of a ‘sobrelier,’ hotels and bars worldwide are embracing a more thoughtful approach to alcohol-free drinking. Meanwhile, Rick Marencic of JCJ ARCHITECTURE predicts a shift in bar design to accommodate the movement, while Bobby Carey of Proof Creative believes that integrating no- and low-alcohol options is essential to modern hospitality. As mixologists, designers and operators rethink the drinking experience, we explore the fundamental shift that will impact every aspect of the hospitality industry. ?? JCJ’s Jesse Trudeau and Christine Leary, AIA, NCARB had a great time representing our team at the Wentworth Institute of Technology Spring Co-op & Career Fair last Tuesday. They enjoyed engaging with the many talented students and aspiring professionals who stopped by JCJ’s table to learn more about our work, culture, and opportunities. It was inspiring to see so much enthusiasm for design, architecture, and the future of the industry.
