Hawaii Kai Jaycees

The Vision of JCI: To be the leading global network of active young citizens. The Mission of JCI To provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. The Hawaii Kai Jaycees (JCI Hawaii Kai or HKJC) is a local not-for-profit 501(c)(4) member driven organization. We are part of a larger global network known as JCI (Junior Chamber International), we belong to JCI Hawaii, which is part of JCI USA. JCI USA, formerly the US Jaycees A.K.A US Junior Chamber of Commerce started in St. Louis Missouri in 1920 and became known as the Jaycee movement which spread throughout the United States and later became an international movement. Our local chapter accepts membership to young adults ages 18-40 years old. However, participation with our chapter is open to all ages. Membership allows opportunities to serve the community, network with professionals, and leadership development. Members who choose the leadership track learn how to create a business plan through our Project Management Guide and are encouraged to create projects that are based on their passion or needs of the community.
