We are very excited and proud that two of our JCC staff, Shayna Gruner and Isabel Lunken, were chosen to participate in the 2024-2025 Friedman Fellows! They both have been awarded professional scholarships, which we know they will use to enhance their respective progams and the entire JCC! Help us congradulate them and all the 2024-2025 Friedman Fellow!
Na'aleh wishes our newest class of Friedman Fellows a hearty Mazel Tov. The Friedman Fellowship offers opportunities to new professionals to expand their professional leadership skills, increase their Jewish knowledge, benefit from coaching, and learn from and collaborate with their peers.

Join us in congratulating Isabela Herrera, our J Camps Administrator and Outreach Coordinator, on her J Star Award! Isabela is an enthusiastic team member who shows up to work ready to connect, contribute, and collaborate her ideas with other staff members in J Camps, and ensures that parents of campers are thoroughly informed about the everyday events and activities during summer camp! She goes out of her way to show appreciation to other staff members, even planning celebrations for their birthdays! She leads with kindness with staff, family, and campers, and always prioritizes the wellbeing of her staff and campers! We can’t thank her enough for her dedication to our summer programs! #employeeofthemonth

On September 11, we honor the memory of those we lost and the remarkable way people came together, proving that even in our darkest moments, unity and compassion can shine through. Now more than ever, we must hold onto that spirit of unity and remind ourselves that together, we can overcome any challenge. #neverforget
On this anniversary of the horrific September 11 attacks, we honor the lives that were lost that day 23 years ago. May their memories be a blessing.
