On Feb. 15th, we celebrated a special milestone – Coltrane’s 1st birthday! We are incredibly proud to be working with Hero Dogs, Inc. to help train this amazing future service dog. From his early puppy classes to his progress in the Big Dog group, Coltrane continues to impress us with his growth. Thank you to Hero Dogs and everyone involved in Coltrane’s training journey. This past fall, we introduced two new ways to make our usual team-building events even more meaningful: Conqueror Virtual Step Challenge?– JSL employees took on personal fitness goals while making a real impact on the environment. Team members selected virtual routes, tracked their progress, and celebrated milestones together. And for every challenge completed, we contributed to global sustainability efforts—planting 100 trees and removing 530 plastic bottles from entering the ocean! Super Bowl Squares for a Cause?– This year’s Super Bowl fun had a purpose! Employees earned squares not just for bragging rights, but through donations to a local food bank, ensuring our community benefited from the game-day excitement. And we’re just getting started!?Our 2025 Conqueror Challenge is now underway, running all year long.?Whether walking, running, cycling, swimming, or simply staying active, JSL employees are stepping up—literally!—to keep moving and keep making a difference. A huge shoutout to our team organizers Tammy Martin and Kali Lynch for leading these initiatives with such enthusiasm. We’re thrilled to share that Coltrane, our service dog in training with Hero Dogs, Inc., is making incredible progress in his Puppy II class! ?? ???Skills in Focus: Coltrane has recently mastered the important skill of picking up his leash and handing it to his puppy raiser. He’s also focusing on impulse control, learning to stay in a sit or down position for longer periods. ???Expanding Horizons: The Puppy II group continues to explore new public spaces with their puppy raisers, gaining valuable experience in different environments. A huge thank you to the Hero Dogs team for their ongoing support and dedication to Coltrane’s growth!
