Early this week, we had the amazing opportunity to visit Alexandria City Public Schools, where Virginia Department of Education's Superintendent of Public Instruction, Dr. Lisa Coons saw our "Pathways to Your Future" program in action! At Patrick Henry K-8 School, Dr. Coons observed firsthand Dr. Laura Moore Ed.D.'s “Pathways to Your Future” course, an innovative class that uses JASON Learning’s "Pathways to Your Future" content to guide students as they prepare for high school by exploring potential career paths.?? It was inspiring to see this dynamic program in action and to be part of a day dedicated to empowering students to shape their futures! JASON Learning has proudly partnered with ACPS and Tricia S. Jacobs, PhD since January to develop “Pathways to Your Future,” which was made possible by funding from GO Northern Virginia Region 7. ?? If you want to check it out, visit https://lnkd.in/ekMXV-Jt. This program addresses the Career Investigations course requirement in Virginia, where students design an academic and career plan tailored to their aspirations.?? The countdown is on!? We’re now under one month away from the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) & JASON Learning Youth Recycling Contest deadline—December 13, 2024!?? This year's theme, "Sustainable. Resilient. Essential.", challenges participants to create a poster/infographic or a one-minute video advertisement showcasing the importance of recycling.
