Work-based learning experiences are essential for connecting local youth to sustainable high-wage, in-demand career pathways. These opportunities help young people build critical #socialcapital and professional networks that drive long-term socioeconomic #success. Engaging youth in early #careerexploration and paid work experiences through cross-sector collaborations and public-private partnerships helps foster a robust and diverse regional talent pipeline, contributing to San Diego’s long-term #economicgrowth. Read our recent op-ed written in collaboration with the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation and MiraCosta College on the significance of paid youth workforce development opportunities:?https://lnkd.in/gbrvRCad
