Reliving this powerful moment when The Poinsette Foundation Serenity Rooms were revealed at Family Promise of Greater Orlando. Over the course of several months, the Poinsette Foundation worked with Family Promise to furnish four guest rooms that offer temporary accommodations for families experiencing homelessness. In addition to enhancing the comfort and functionality of these spaces, children and families have access to a more dignified and supportive environment.

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we were honored to support our client,?Cannonball Kids' cancer Foundation (CKc),?as they held their annual Ripple Effect luncheon. In the past year, CKc invested more than $1 million in research grants, including $530,000 for new projects. To raise awareness about childhood cancer, the team also recently launched the Game Over: c*ncer podcast. Cannonball Kids' cancer Foundation (CKc) recently kicked off Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month with its second annual Ripple Effect luncheon. In the midst of a busy season, it was refreshing to pause and recognize that our efforts, no matter the size, can collectively make a positive impact on our communities. Bonus: I got to catch up with some of my favorite people!

We are so proud of our client, The Poinsette Foundation, on this well-deserved recognition!
We are thrilled to announce that President Biden has honored our Executive Director Mia Poinsette with the prestigious United States Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award! This extraordinary recognition is the highest U.S. civil volunteerism award bestowed upon individuals who have contributed more than 4,000 hours of service in their lifetime to impact communities positively. Along with this ultimate honor of presidential recognition, our founder received a personalized certificate, a gold presidential medallion, and a signed congratulatory letter from President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. We are forever grateful for this extraordinary recognition and extend our deepest thanks to Dr. Roshanne Allen for the nomination. This award is not just an individual achievement but a celebration of the collective efforts of our incredible team and the communities we serve.? #ThePoinsetteFoundation #AchievementAward #Volunteerism
