cross country mortgage, ON Superior in Cleveland's ARTs District, before adaptive REUSE that replaced the fiberglass sandwich panels with historically accurate windows! the design then was driven by the thermal efficiency rather then aesthetics or historic fidelity; a wise choice then, really yet this adaptive reuse included opportunity to restore the building's historic aesthetic! beautiful today as well as more effiecient than the historic original if not as efficient as the Sandwich panels #historicpreservation #cleveland #historictaxcredits

A FAVORITE PROJECT of OURS! AKRON EAST END.... the former Goodyear Hall designed by our friends' great grandfathers' firm Walker & Weeks Architects opened in 1911 the amazing detail in the original windows were tricky but replicated perfectly.... and look at the color! AMAZING THAT WE CAN REPLICATE any color you can imagine from a sample or pantone number! further amazing is the special color is often NO CHARGE to be crystal CLEAR... FREE! as in this project the overall volume enabled the color to be included without additional cost... FREE SPECIAL COLORS! how many #subcontractors will pass on savings like #free to the #contractor ???

WE JUST received another batch of beautiful images of our work at the Cleveland Coast Guard station, captured by the talented Dan Morgan DID ya know the original station was on that site from 1836 to 1936! in 1936 the city of cleveland water department took over the 100 year old buildings and used them as their water testing laboratory! those buildings were removed for a "new" station to be designed by J.Milton Dyer in 1940.... the building you see today and it's beautifully restored streamline Moderne style ... cleveland has many examples of Art Deco yet few of STREAMLINE MODERNE.. THE COAST GUARD STATION and the Greyhound bus station are the two best examples .... similar to Art Deco yet streamline was the design movement following Art Deco we are proud to have been selected to: engineer, procure and install all the historically accurate windows there! thank you Cleveland Metroparks and Sean McDermott for selecting jamieson Ricca! #cleveland #design #architecturaldesign #streamline moderne
