James Cropper and Untouched World Unveil Innovative Garment Tags We have partnered with New Zealand lifestyle brand Untouched World to launch premium garment tags made from recycled denim and coffee cups. With denim production contributing significantly to global textile waste, James Cropper has developed Rydal Apparel, a 100% recycled material composed of 20% post-consumer denim fibre and 80% recycled fibre from sources like coffee cups. This cellulose-based product is globally recyclable, offering multiple life cycles. Untouched World, committed to the circular economy, will use Rydal Apparel for swing tags on its new recycled denim tote bags, coinciding with the opening of its new store in Auckland. Untouched World chose James Cropper for its sustainability goals, aiming for operational net zero by 2030 and a net zero supply chain by 2050. This morning, we honored our heroes with a wreath-laying ceremony at Burneside Mill, led by our CEO, Steve Adams. Steve served for more than 8 years in the Territorial Army with the Royal Anglian Regiment. The wreath laying was followed by a company-wide 2-minute silence at 11 am. Steve Adams, CEO, recited The Exhortation. Followed by Andy Edgar, a James Cropper employee and former member of the 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery, playing The Last Post, joined by fellow ex-service employees. This silence was a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. On November 11, 1918, at 11 am, the guns of Europe fell silent, marking the end of The Great War. Lest We Forget. Today, we remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth. #LestWeForget #RemembranceDay #ArmisticeDay #ServiceAndSacrifice #FallenSoldier

Since 1978, our paper mill has proudly manufactured red and green papers that are transformed into millions of poppies for the annual Poppy Appeal, supporting the Armed Forces community. Each year, we honor the profound significance of this symbol for families and the nation. Last year, we introduced the 100% paper poppy, cutting carbon emissions by 40%. Free from single-use plastic, it’s fully recyclable in standard paper collections. This innovation aligns with the charity’s mission to eliminate single-use plastic, promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. The new poppy retains its iconic design and can be pinned, buttonholed, or stuck on. Celebrating 45 years with the RBL, our paper for the new poppy blends renewable fibers, with 50% sourced from recycled coffee cups via James Cropper’s CupCycling facility in Cumbria. At James Cropper, we take immense pride in our enduring role in producing the paper poppy, a global symbol of respect and remembrance. #paperpoppy #remembrance
