For November 2024, the JAG Student of the Month honoree is Medora High School junior Breonna Evans. She was nominated by MHS JAG Specialist Shannon Hunsucker. "Bre started the school year wanting to be a CNA but after much research has raised her aspirations and plans to become a registered nurse," Shannon said. "Bre set a goal to make A/B honor roll for the whole school year, was successful the first trimester and is well on her way to making it second trimester. Bre is always willing to help her classmates, jump in on projects and currently serves as the social media manager for the Medora chapter of the JAG Career Association." Along with JAG, Breonna's school activities include volleyball and FFA. Jobs for America's Graduates is a state-based national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping high school students of promise who have experienced challenging or traumatic life experiences achieve success through graduation. The resiliency-building workforce program helps students learn in-demand employability skills and provides a bridge to post-secondary education and career advancement opportunities. Currently, there are 239 JAG programs available throughout Indiana. Medora started its program this school year and has 43 members. JAG Indiana
