It was fantastic to host Sri Lankan cricket legend Aravinda de Silva at the Jafza Cup presented by We One on Wednesday. The 1996 Cricket World Cup winner offered tips to the players, participating in a Q&A session before taking part in the coin toss. We partnered with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology to host a workshop on "Federal Energy Management Regulation in Industrial Facilities." The workshop welcomed 800 Jafza-based manufacturing companies, offering valuable insights into the UAE Cabinet-approved energy management regulation, the Industrial Registry platform, and the "Made in the Emirates" Mark, among other key topics. Reflecting on #ADIPEC 2024, we were delighted to participate in this year's conference, where we showcased our three key business units: Jafza, Drydocks World, and P&O Maritime Logistics. At ADIPEC’s Maritime & Logistics Conference, Capt. Rado Antolovic PhD, CEO of Drydocks World, provided insights into the evolving maritime regulations and the path toward a low-carbon future. Furthermore, Tiemen Meester, Group COO of Ports & Terminals, discussed how ports are adapting to alternative lower-carbon fuels and the role of technology in creating more sustainable and resilient supply chains. Kris Vedat, Head of Tech and Logistics at P&O Maritime Logistics, led a session on decarbonisation within marine logistics, underscoring the industry’s continuous efforts to achieve sustainability goals. With over 150,000 attendees, ADIPEC provided a valuable platform for engaging with global leaders and advancing progress in energy, trade, and sustainability.
