A seed of hope, a sprout of joy. This little plant, growing against all odds, fills us with gratitude. As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, let's remember the simple pleasures that make life truly special. Happy Thanksgiving!

?? Successful #organic cherry #tomato trial this week, storing different cultivars under #hypobaric conditions for 2 weeks in our R&D chambers. ??We have been trialing different combinations of cultivar x maturity stage x low pressure regimes to find the right "recipe" for extended #storage. ? This grower/packer usually stores no longer than 8 days. The hope is to double this duration (or even triple!) with RipeLocker, Inc. to help fill #supply gaps and enhance the #quality received at the retailer. ?? Some cultivars are more challenging than others to store, so we are working on unlocking the right parameters for each one. Fruit coming out of the #RipeLocker were firmer, in better condition (less mold/decay) and were less advanced in maturation than the standard practice Controls ... oh and they tasted great as well! Shoutout to my great team: Jakob Pott Craig Erickson Alex Tellekson #postharvest #horticulture #research #science
