We were honored to attend the D CEO Commercial Real Estate Awards last night, where our incredible Vice President of Finance, Mark Butler, was a finalist for the Emerging Commercial Real Estate Professional of the Year Under 40, and one of our newest projects, Lakeview Business District, was a finalist for Best New Industrial Project. We are so proud of our JacksonShaw team and all that has been accomplished so far!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our founder and chairman, Lewis W. Shaw, II. ? Lewis began his career in real estate in 1974 when he joined J.C. Jackson Company. Following the death of Mr. Jackson, he purchased the company and transformed it from a small local operation into a recognized leader in build-to-suit and speculative development. Under his leadership, JacksonShaw developed more than 63 million square feet of projects. ? Lewis was more than a leader – he was a mentor, an engaging storyteller, an aviation enthusiast, and a wonderful friend. He made a true impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him and his presence will be greatly missed.? ? His family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, April 5th, at 2 p.m. at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home.
