Christian Walker (1953–2003), an artist and activist who worked in Boston and Atlanta during the 1980s and 1990s was recently rediscovered and is back in the spotlight. A survey titled, “Christian Walker: The Profane and Poignant” organized by Leslie Lohman Museum in New York City is on now view at Atlanta Contemporary until May 25, 2025. Debuting internationally at Paris Photo last fall, his work was well received by curators and institutions. Given the limited amount of material left, we are fortunate to have a group of works available to offer from a private collection. We have them on view at the gallery for the month of March.
