It's a great day to be a Pirate! Monday, we officially broke ground with PITTSBURG ISD on their 2024 Bond Projects, which include a New High School and a new Junior High cafeteria and classroom wing. We are so proud to have been given the opportunity to bring this vision to life with our partners at BWA ARCHITECTS. Next year, pre-k and kindergarten Bulldogs will get to learn and explore in this new 23,000 SF center with 12 classroom spaces, food service, and a cafeteria/gymnasium. We are honored to celebrate and build this investment for the future of Rice ISD Bulldogs with the school board, staff, community and Claycomb Associates, Architects.

Last week we had the honor of breaking ground on yet another new project with CHRISTUS Health. in Mount Pleasant, Texas. This location will include a new 30,000 SF freestanding emergency department, 12 provider medical offices, imaging and testing areas, a lab, and an occupational therapy center. We are so grateful for this continued partnership with CHRISTUS Health and Harris Craig Architects and look forward to building a healthier, brighter future together!

Earlier this week in Brahma Country, we joined Godwin Design Architects at the beam signing ceremony for the New PEWITT CONSOLDIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT INC Elementary School, where current and former board members and staff joined to leave their mark on this milestone. Signing the beam symbolizes the commitment to shaping the future of education, honoring the teams who have tirelessly contributed to the school district and community's growth and success. Set to open for the 2025-2026 school year, this new 70,000 SF replacement elementary school will house 35 instructional spaces, kitchen, cafeteria, library, and administrative area. Upon completion, the new school will be connected to the existing school gymnasium via a covered walkway canopy system and the existing school will be demolished.
