Haiti's hunger crisis is one of the most severe in the world, with over 4.9 million Haitians struggling to find enough food each day. With the help of Goya Foods, Mercury One, & Taher Foods, The Jack Brewer Foundation was able to deliver and distribute thousands of pounds of food amidst gang violence. https://lnkd.in/esiPFZru

The Jack Brewer Foundation’s Heroes sports programs provide the opportunity for youth to be mentored by godly father figures, ranging from volunteer dads to returning citizens, whose experiences can pour wisdom into misguided youth. The goal of our Heroes Sports Academy is to give all demographics of young men the opportunity to be trained as servant fathers, resulting in a spiritual opportunity to grow for both the adults and the youth. Our program prepares men to mentor youth, while giving fatherless kids the chance to embrace and learn from strong father figures that they otherwise may have never had. https://lnkd.in/ejgXk5mJ

Earlier this year, The Jack Brewer Foundation led evacuation & rescue efforts in Haiti, moving Americans, the elderly, and orphans to safety. In the midst of gang violence, JBF has partnered with multiple organizations to conduct numerous relief efforts in the country, such as search and rescue efforts and food provision. To combat recidivism, we must take a stand for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation efforts are essential to the successful re-entry of incarcerated individuals into society. The Jack Brewer Foundation through its Faith and Fatherhood program is dedicated to setting incarcerated fathers and father figures on a path to success by engaging with and empowering them, providing necessary tools and life skills, and getting to the root causes of issues like recidivism. https://lnkd.in/ejD9MzX6

In the immediate aftermath and even weeks later, The Jack Brewer Foundation has partnered with Mercury One to provide relief to veterans and countless others who have been impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Many veterans have been left with massive fallen trees on their homes and properties, impeding on their ability to safely access these spaces. To decrease recidivism we must tackle our nation’s fatherlessness crisis. Recognizing fatherhood as a cornerstone of our society will help keep our kids out of prison and break the cycle of recidivism. Fathers play an essential role in the success of our children and society.

To combat fatherlessness our nation must return to Biblical truth and faith. In 1960, roughly 9% of children in the U.S. were fatherless. Today it is 25% of children, with over 18 million living without a father in the home. The U.S. has the highest rate of children living in single-parent homes worldwide.
