"Don't be afraid of success." Jabil's Chairman of the Board, Mark Mondello, shared these words of wisdom with students at Tampa's Sligh Magnet Middle School today during a fireside chat with local philanthropist Thaddeus Bullard (better known to the world as WWE Legend Titus O'Neil). The two longtime friends shared their perspectives on leadership, giving back, and the importance of learning from mistakes. The students also met their newest classmate, an autonomous robot donated by Badger Technologies, a retail robotics product division of Jabil, who whirred around the school gym on its own two wheels. Continuing the technology and automation theme, they were blown away by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office's robotic dog, used to investigate situations where explosives may be present. Already a sponsor of the robotics lab, technology lab with computers and 3D printers, teacher training, and other improvements at the middle school's Thaddeus M. Bullard Academy, Jabil will continue to enable success for the academy's students by providing them the latest and greatest robotics technologies, support for their robotics team, and education on AI and machine learning. We're proud to inspire students to learn, grow, and become the next generation of technology leaders.

From Raron, Switzerland, to Elmira, New York ??, CNC programmer Mateo Krizmanic recently undertook a three-month assignment in the United States that showed the power of global collaboration. ?? Working with our engineering technicians team in Elmira, Mateo produced parts of footplates for medical devices, sharing strategies and skills from Jabil's Raron site to improve workflows and production. He also expanded his knowledge of Fanuc machines and macros, adapting to new programming styles to enhance his problem-solving skills. Today, Jabil announced it will open a new factory in Gujarat, expanding its footprint in India. We’ve also signed a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the state to explore building a post-wafer fabrication silicon photonics facility with advanced optics capabilities.
