Linda Weber, Jabil's senior global sustainability engagement manager, recently spoke on a panel at the #WorldSustainabilityCongress2024 about data and digitalization's role in driving sustainability initiatives and net-zero carbon emission targets — emphasizing the importance of evolving from fragmented spreadsheets to a more cohesive management system. She was joined at the conference by fellow Jabil team members Nicole Andersen, sustainability compliance associate, Meghan Gregoire, business sustainability analyst, and Beate Hager, global quality systems manager. Gathering, assuring, and disclosing data is key to Jabil's comprehensive sustainability strategy, which spans environmental health, social responsibility, and corporate governance, coupled with profitability and economic growth. These efforts are especially important for maintaining compliance with the rapidly changing global regulatory landscape, including the European Union's new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
