Still under the spell of the JA HEROES meeting ??
#hsmtc The Interim Event meeting of the JA HEROES (HEalth woRkfOrce to meet health challEngeS) project was held in Budapest on 4 and 5 November 2024, organized by the Országos Kórházi F?igazgatóság (OKF?). These two days provided opportunities to gain an in-depth insight into the data-driven strategy for health workforce planning, the different planning models, and the workforce planning action plans developed by the project Member States, covering sustainability, skills development, data optimization, and capacity building. Our colleagues Dr. Eszter Kovacs, Dr. Réka Kovács, Dr. Zoltán Cserháti, and Kóródi Rita held technical presentations and workshops that contributed to sharing best practices and developing practical solutions. The project's two-day meeting was attended by many partners who actively participated in the joint reflection. The success of the event was made possible thanks to the key role played by the World Health Organization, the BeWell project, the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), the European Commission's Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), the EHMA - European Health Management Association (EHMA), the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, Agenas (Agenzia Nazionale per i Servizi Sanitari Regionali), Országos Kórházi F?igazgatóság (OKF?), and the colleagues of our institute, the Semmelweis University Health Services Management Training Centre actively contributed to the programmes and shared their knowledge.
