This Black History Month reminds us that empowering young talent today creates stronger workplaces and communities tomorrow. Through Huber’s Impact Your Community (IYC) program, the Young Black Leadership Alliance (YBLA) has received funding to further its mission of preparing young Black leaders to positively impact their communities and beyond. Nominated by colleagues within Huber Engineered Woods, this organization offers programming starting in high school, through college and beyond to build key skills within career readiness, networking, financial management and more. Huber is proud to play a part in supporting the development of these bright minds as they go on to leave their marks on the world. #IBelongatHuber #HuberHelps #BlackHistoryMonth

Following catastrophic destruction from wildfires in Southern California, Huber Helps is leveraging our partnership with Team Rubicon (TR) by inviting our employees to participate in a matching campaign that will support ongoing relief operations in affected areas. TR is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that is headquartered in Los Angeles (LA), California, and has deep running connections locally driven by their volunteers called “Greyshirts.” Donations will go directly to the Ready Reserve Fund, which increases the efficiency and capacity of TR's response to these operations. With a Huber Engineered Materials location in nearby La Mirada, California, the magnitude of the impact on closely neighboring communities is severe and has weighed heavily on the minds and hearts of our La Mirada colleagues. Please consider donating to TR’s Ready Reserve fund here: https://lnkd.in/eSKMj3br And learn more about how to avoid Scams and Fraud when donating to disaster relief here: https://lnkd.in/e_n6iRTC https://lnkd.in/e2MDA-_A #HuberHelps #CommunityEngagement #TeamRubicon #HuberCulture

Today, we honor Dr. King's legacy by continuing to live these values in our workplace and beyond.

As of early December, the Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) Martinswerk facility in Bergheim, Germany has officially switched its energy generation from lignite coal to natural gas. Doing so is anticipated to decrease the emission of carbon dioxide from the facility by about 40%, while also eliminating 10,000 tons of fly ash emissions and 7,200 annual truckloads of coal deliveries. We are so proud to showcase this significant milestone in sustainability made by our colleagues within the Huber Advanced Materials (HAM) business. Thank you for your commitment to building a more sustainable future. #HuberCulture #Sustainability #SustainableFuture
As 2025 is about to dawn, we have wonderful news to share as our Huber Advanced Materials (HAM) business has achieved a significant sustainability milestone. On December 3rd, our Martinswerk facility in Bergheim, Germany, switched its energy generation from lignite coal to natural gas, beginning an exciting new chapter in its storied 110-year history. The natural gas-fired power plant is producing 100% of the required steam and electricity needed for the entire facility. The switch from lignite to natural gas is anticipated to decrease the emission of carbon dioxide at the facility by about 40%, resulting in a 31% overall reduction for HAM, about a 27% reduction for Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) and an approximate 11% decrease for J.M. Huber Corporation overall. In addition, 10,000 tons of fly ash emissions are eliminated along with approximately 7,200 annual truckloads of coal deliveries. We applaud the numerous team members who persevered together to make this outstanding accomplishment a reality. A recent celebration at Martinswerk commemorated the momentous achievement.
