Celebrating Professional Engineers Day: A Nod to Our Engineering Team! This week, our dedicated engineer has been hard at work—engaged in training, reviewing submittals, collaborating with product reps, and resolving job site issues. Their expertise and commitment are crucial to the success of our projects. This week also marked Professional Engineers Day, an opportunity to acknowledge the essential contributions of our engineering team. As noted by our own Todd Kuchta, engineers often work diligently behind the scenes, focusing on solving complex problems and supporting the success of every project. We value and appreciate the hard work that goes into ensuring systems function flawlessly and projects meet their goals. Let's take a moment to thank our engineers for their invaluable support and dedication. Learn more about the daily life of an engineer and their vital role in our projects below. #ProfessionalEngineersDay #EngineeringExcellence #Teamwork #Construction #EngineeringSupport
This week was just another typical week. There was training, reviewing submittals, speaking with product reps, revising drawings and working on resolving issues on jobs. This is the typical week of an engineer. It also happened to include Professional Engineers day. Most likely, you were not aware of it. It is possible that the Professional Engineer (PE) didn't say anything for fear that someone might want to give him a hug. https://lnkd.in/gCu9XFPg Most engineers enjoy doing the day to day tasks that are required to be successful. Although we like recognition for having solved a difficult problem, most do not want it broadcast. What is important is not that we get the glory (we will leave that to the Architects), but the project is successful and systems work. We also realize that our portion is only a part of the project. I can't count how often a knowledgeable tradesman provides the key observation to make a system work. What I would like to leave you with is that we want to be a part of the team. We want to solve problems and support those who are doing the physical side of the project. We want to be a valuable support. Next time you see a PE you are working with, thank them for helping out. Invite them to see the installed work. Finally, please bear with them when they seem to get stuck on a detail. That detail might just avoid a problem down the road.
