J-Ventures group is a mission driven fund - with a strong impactful community. Being generalist and small by design, active in Israel and Silicon valley ( currently the most active foreign VC in Israel by Komg /IVC) Yet, one of our missions is to invest in industry leaders, leveraging our Capitalist Kibbutz of 450 experts ( and likely to grow a bit in the next fund ). The past weeks been a great example of this philosophy when several portfolio companies been ranked as industry leaders : ? Descope and Bright Security ranked among Fortune’s Cyber 60 of the best cyber companies in the world. ? Descope and Eclypsium named to the prestigious SINET16 list. ? Clarity highlighted by Forbes as a rising star in the Cloud 100. ? Beehero celebrated by TIME as one of the 200 most innovative companies worldwide. ? DataRobot selected by CEO Today as one of the “10 Groundbreaking AI Startups Reshaping the Future” and ranked #1 by Gartner for Governance Use Case. ? 4 of J-Ventures Portfolio been selected to Calcalist most promising Start ups in Israel. Also in TheMarker and Mako ? 5 companies made it to Fas@company’s most innovative startups. ? two companies to the TIMES list of the best Climatetech companies in the US. How do we achieve this? It’s all about our community. We lean on our “Capitalist Kibbutz”. a network of industry leaders, including GPs from top VC funds, serial founders, and executives. The year 5785 of the Jewish people begins today, and it is a great opportunity to reflect on the activities of J-Ventures, our Capitalist Kibbutz and community, which has remained united and strong this past year. I believe it's only about people - and fortunately J-Ventures, as a community empowered VC Fund (250 Executives, 150 VCs, 150 Serial founders, 40 Family Offices and 150 BOD of Jewish NGOs) - Has the kind of people i would like to spend my life with. Mensch and Womensch! Over the last year, J-Ventures continued to operate at full strength, making 9 new investments in Silicon Valley and Israel, along with eight follow-on investments. IVC/KPMG named J-Ventures the most active foreign investor in Israel in the first half of 2024, followed by Andreessen Horowitz and Lightspeed. We remain very bullish on Israeli high-tech and Israeli entrepreneurs, and continue in line with the mission of the fund, which is currently the largest Jewish/Israeli fund in the world. We believe this is a great opportunity, which is why Sequoia, Greylock, Accel, and others are opening offices in Israel, and companies like Salesforce, NVIDIA, and Palo Alto are acquiring companies for billions. Our fund, which connects Jews and Israelis from 40 Jewish communities, invests 70% in Israeli entrepreneurs in Israel and the US. This is a great time to invest in such entrepreneurs, and I am proud that in the past year, we invested in Clarity, Bria, Volumez, Monogot, Nimbleway, Raaam, Cents, Kardom, along with investments in other companies like Lineaje, Privaini, Apera, and Oso. This year, I saw exceptional fundraising from our companies, some of which have not yet been publicly reported, all of which we joined at early stages: Cents raised $40 million, XP Health raised $33.3 million, Finout raised $26 million, Nimble and Hidden Level raised tens of millions. What amazed us was the resilience of Israeli companies, or those with a connection to Israel – most of them have doubled or tripled their revenue during this period. Companies like 1BEAT, Bites, Nimblem, Finout, Futora, Bright Security, Epic, Beehero, Bria, and Hourly left us amazed. And other companies like Hidden Level, Cents, Eclipsium broke records. This year, we will expand our community with our most natural partners who share our common values – the Indian community in the US – together covering 70% of all startups in Silicon Valley, including all the key executives and investors. May we have a sweet year, a strengthening year, and a year in which we continue to show that technology is the way to succeed.

J-Ventures is most active foreign VC in Israel in H1/24’! Over the past months Sequoia Capital ( with 20% of new portfolio from Israel ) , Graylock, Foubders fund, Acell opened offices in Israel alongside Lightspeed and Bessemer. A16z increased the investments in Israel. Wiz turned down a $23b offer, Salesforce acquired a $2b startup, and NVIDIA and Palo altos Netowrks Acquired two Israeli companies each. With that - I’m Proud of J-Ventures is the most active US fund in Israel in the first Half of 2024! We are bullish and proud that portfolio ranked high in any list of top preforming and promising companies and the companies we invested in 24- Volumez , Clarity , Monogoto, Bria.ai, Raaam, Nimble way all rock !
