As an organization located in the Lowcountry, we are all too aware of the devastation that follows a hurricane and the collective effort it takes a community to rebuild. Like many others across the nation, delivering aid to the affected communities is top of mind while watching the aftermath of Hurricane Helene unfold. ? In the last week, several of our channel partners have answered the call. Carson Material Handling, headquartered in Morrisville, NC, has been actively involved in the relief efforts in Western North Carolina. Between accepting and delivering donated essentials, to ambitious employees taking it upon themselves to join the aid. ? Yesterday, we partnered with Carson Material Handling and the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) to lend a hand in the relief efforts in NC. In the morning, we packed up a new Baoli KBG25 counterbalance forklift to donate to the logistic needs of the region. Our small contribution arrived in the afternoon and has been deployed in a distribution operation focused on moving supplies to citizens in need. ? We are proud to be a part of an organization and industry that has the resources to help when the time comes, and we urge you to help where you are able. Yesterday, while some of us were delivering aid and supplies to our own team members affected by the storm, David Mallia took it upon himself to load up and head towards Western North Carolina with as much as he could haul! David teamed up with a local Church in Hendersonville and delivered a trailer load of food, water, diapers and wipes. David said, "We'll make as many trips as possible and as long as donations come in." The damage is devastating. Please help in any way you are able.
