As Machinist Apprentices they are continuously learning and gaining confidence in pursuing their passion for machining. It’s inspiring to witness the incredible progress high school students can make when they begin their advanced manufacturing careers through apprenticeships. Recently, STEMheads Liam Brown visited us to gain a deeper understanding of the apprenticeship process and how our team is helping to shape the next generation.

We are incredibly honored to be recognized by Modern Machine Shop as a Top Shop this year. We were selected in the category of HR Practices. We recognize the efforts of all of the JD Machine Corp. Team Members and their contributions to our company and the industry.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of JDU, making JD Machine a U.S. Department of Labor Certified Apprenticeship Program Training Institution!     At JD Machine, we are committed to building a world-class workforce of highly skilled machinists. Our USDOL-certified apprenticeship is designed to equip individuals with the expertise and knowledge needed to excel in the field of machining, taking them from apprentice to master machinist.  They can simultaneously receive training and the needed education inside of our facility, advancing in skills and pay every 6 months as they progress through the program.     The JDU curriculum includes the basics of machining, all the way through the most high-tech and essential elements. Our apprenticeship is a “living” program, continually improving and incorporating the latest in technology and innovation.    We believe that JDU coupled with our apprenticeship program will produce the most highly skilled machinists in the industry.     Join us to manufacture the future!
