IYK bridges the physical and digital worlds by using NFC and blockchain technology. By tokenizing physical items and IRL experiences, we are building the tools necessary for brands, companies, and creators alike to deliver new, innovative experiences to their fans. For the very first time, our tech allows companies to verify and reward fandom across the entire spectrum of customer and user engagement. For example, imagine getting airdropped a concert ticket or NFT from your favorite artist for owning merch from their previous tour, receiving early access to an exclusive product drop from a D2C brand based on your past purchasing history, or winning a sneak peek at a luxury brand’s upcoming collection for visiting one of their pop-up locations. All of these experiences—and more—are made possible with IYK. Using our technology, we are unlocking entirely new experiences that combine the tangible joy of physical items with the unique benefits and utility of the digital world.

    IYK Head of Product Will Hunter delivered a talk on 'Reimagining Loyalty' at the Polimoda fashion school last week. Here's the TL;DR [1] most companies currently flatten loyalty into points based just on purchase history, [2] loyal customers do more than just buy... but as many of these touchpoints occur IRL, they aren't tracked and can't be rewarded, [3] we are reimagining retention by utilizing verified IRL actions via NFC technology, [4] identifying loyal customers, strengthening relationships + tapping into organic network — this is Loyalty 2.0 Thank you Stefano Bellandi and students for having us! ? ? ? ? ? ?

    One of my favorite IYK* partnerships of 2024 was with UK metal band, Bring Me the Horizon. Using NFC-chipped Access Cards, we created a net-new experience where fans could tap to unlock: *?? Digital stream/download of the new album *?? Exclusive content *?? Limited edition collectible card that can be updated over time The best part? Each tap and stream actually contributed to the official charts, helping BMTH get to #2 in the UK ?? Aaand, it won the Best D2C Strategy at Music Ally's 2024 Marketing Awards ?? We're excited to see NFC tech like Access Cards drive engagement and fandom for more music artists in 2025.     Bad Bunny uses to polls to give his real fans a chance at getting concert tickets — but what if there was a better way? Right now third-party promoters, distributors and streaming platforms own fan data, not musicians. But what if that wasn't the case? A world where artists can go direct-to-fan, identifying, engaging & rewarding their real fans. How could we unlock this? ? The secret lies in verifying fandom. In-person fan actions like attending shows or owning merch are the most meaningful, but currently go untracked. NFC tech helps to connect those dots, empowering fans to prove they're real fans — and artists to reward them for it. Here's how ? ?? TAP TO CHECK-IN: NFC-enabled check-in points that are tappable with a phone can help fans to prove their attendance. ?? VERIFIED MERCH: Apparel or vinyl embedded with NFC tags that fans can tap to claim. Similar to check-ins, this allows fans to prove their fandom.
