“Trauma is not what happens to you. Trauma is what happens inside of you as a result of what happens to you.” — Trauma expert Gabor Maté, MD There’s no shame in needing help when your body is signaling a need for care. Using Trauma Autoimmune Indicators (TAIs), we use a new and innovative approach to detecting the underlying cause of trauma-related health conditions by directly measuring real-time dysregulation. iXG isn’t just about mental awareness but about scientifically backing it with tangible actionable data for individualized prevention of trauma-related diseases and disorders.

Last week at the United We Transform – Veterans’ Health Summit & Concert in Nashville, we were deeply moved by the courage and resilience of our veteran community. This first-of-its-kind event wasn’t just a gathering; it was a powerful reminder of the importance of connection and shared purpose focused on action and solutions. At the summit, we had the privilege of introducing our groundbreaking blood testing technology, designed to help prevent trauma-related diseases including PTSD. Engaging with veterans, their families, and like-minded change agents, we saw the true power of open conversations about mental health. It was inspiring to witness the impact of these discussions and collaborate on innovative solutions aimed at changing the way we care for those who have sacrificed so much. The experience reinforced a simple but powerful truth: healing is a journey we take together. By building strong community bonds and embracing vulnerability, we can create spaces where veterans feel seen, heard, and valued. We’re honored to be a part of this important conversation. Shoutout to all the amazing people who made this event unforgettable! Too many to list, but a huge thank you to Jason Howk, Richard Lawson, Brandon Davis, Jennifer Markiewicz Wagman, Dr. Seth Hickerson, David Buzzard, Michael Merzke, Cayce, Nicholas Vandre, Morgan M., John Hollis, Martin J. Bowling, Rebekah Edmondson, and everyone who played a part!

On February 12, 2010, a routine faculty meeting at UAH turned into tragedy when a colleague opened fire, killing three and critically injuring three more. As a survivor, our Co-Founder and CSO Dr. Joseph Ng witnessed firsthand the varying resilience among his peers, sparking a question that led to groundbreaking research - why did some survivors seem to recover while others faced lasting physical and mental health challenges? This became the foundation of iXG. This week marks the 15th anniversary of this tragic event, and our hearts remain with those impacted by this day. We are deeply grateful to WAFF 48 and Liz Hurley for their ongoing commitment to sharing this story from the very beginning. Stay tuned for the story. #iXpressGenes #UAHShootingAnniversary
