As we mark the 10th anniversary of National Apprenticeship Week, it's clear that #apprenticeships have gained significant momentum nationwide, with state-level initiatives driving much of the progress. A recent article highlights four key strategies states like Alabama and Colorado are using to advance apprenticeships: setting measurable goals, building infrastructure to meet growing demand, leveraging public-private partnerships, and expanding intermediary organizations to support employers. https://lnkd.in/gb5wrumN

Was a pleasure for our team members Jodi Paretta to attend Healthcare Career College 2024 graduation ceremony. Our very own, recently completed Ready Willing and Able apprentice, Joyce Liu was named as valedictorian. Congratulations on all those that have worked alongside Joyce on her journey. These evenings are a reminder of WHY we do what we do, and is proof that an apprenticeship is a pathway to meaningful and ongoing employment. Thank you to California Department of Rehabilitation for your ongoing support toward enhancing apprenticeship as pathway to a viable career. Reading about the vital role of persons with disabilities in the green transition. It underscores the importance of inclusivity in the burgeoning clean energy sector, which is projected to add nine million jobs by 2030 according to the International Energy Agency. As we pivot to sustainable energy sources, it's crucial that we ensure these opportunities are accessible to all, especially those with disabilities, who bring unique perspectives and innovations to the table.
