IWS Family Health serves more than 13,000 patients annually with a continuum of pediatrics, adult health, prenatal, dental care, optometry, and behavioral health services at the Angel Harvey Family Health Center in Logan Square. This “one-stop-shop” ensures barrier-free access and provides a multi-service healthcare home for children and families in Chicago and the surrounding areas. For more than a century, the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago has pioneered innovative medical and behavioral health practices to serve some of Chicago’s most vulnerable populations. Since 1924, we have incorporated child development and behavioral health counseling into its primary care model, and since 1970, provided pediatric dentistry services to low-income children. Orthodontic care was introduced in 1991 and pediatric optometry in 1995. In 2015, we launched the Child-Centered Health and Advanced Therapies (CHAT) Center, for children at risk for developmental delays. IWS Family Health services are: - trusted by our patients. Word-of-mouth referrals are strong, and many families have received care for multiple generations. - provided in a state-of-the-art facility. The Angel Harvey Family Health Center in Logan Square is a modern, clean, LEED Silver Certified 40,000 square foot building. - always expanding to best meet the needs of our patients. New and improved services and programs are a hallmark of our commitment to wraparound services. - accessible to all. Our convenient location, culturally sensitive staff, and sliding fee scales reduce barriers to critical care.
