International Women's Day is celebrated annually on 8 March. It offers an opportunity to reflect on progress, call for change, and celebrate the courageous and determined acts of ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities. In light of the previous years, a group of like-minded women leaders from 50+ countries participated and communicated that women are the leaders in almost every field of life: in processes for economic development, running businesses, establishing ventures as successful entrepreneurs, building communities, leading nations, serving at the top level in different institutions while caring for their families and communities.
