Ivinson Memorial Hospital proudly participates in the DAISY Award program ??, celebrating nurses who exemplify extraordinary compassion and skill in patient care. This quarter, we are excited to honor Kallie Marting, RN, from Labor and Delivery, as our DAISY Award recipient! ?? Kallie was nominated by a new mother who described how her exceptional care transformed what could have been a stressful experience into a cherished milestone. As a first-time mom, the patient was understandably nervous, but Kallie’s unwavering support, hand-holding reassurance, and dedication to comfort made all the difference. She validated the patient’s feelings, carefully explained options, and brought positivity and encouragement at every turn. Kallie’s attentiveness, including her diligent position changes, helped ensure a smooth delivery, allowing the baby to turn to the correct position for birth. Her compassionate care and unwavering support left a lasting impact. Thank you, Kallie, for embodying Ivinson’s commitment to patient-centered care and for making such a profound difference!

Several of our offices will only be open Monday through Wednesday this week, and all clinics, including the Convenient Care Clinic, will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so our team can celebrate with their families. If Thanksgiving leaves you feeling under the weather, our Convenient Care team will be available for walk-in care for fevers, flu, minor injuries and acute needs for all ages: Friday: Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday: Open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
